My Conclusion
Some readers have already asked me buy or not to buy on this promotion. Seems 100% bonus is a pretty good offer. Furthermore, usually you can only purchase 40,000 points per year but with this promotion they increased the limit to 80,000 points.
I have compared few hotels and looks like most Categories 1 or Categories 2 hotels are cheaper to use points to book. For example “Doubletree by hilton johor bahru“, I picked a random date to check and the cheapest rate is US$102. However, purchase 3,000 points(plus bonus 3000 points) is only need US$30. So buying points to book this hotel is a lot cheaper.
Make sure you check the cost make sense before you purchase the points. There should be a lot of hotels in US are Categories 1 or Categories 2 and is cheaper to use points.
