In my home country, the teachers always say “read ten thousand books is not as useful as traveling ten thousand miles”. It simply means traveling make you become a wise man. I have traveled to Japan(Tokyo,Osaka, Okinawa ) Taiwan, Macau, Thailand(Phuket, Pattaya,Chiang Mei, Koh Samui), Singapore, Bali, China and Maldives in last 7 years.

I never use skoosh.com so i can’t give you any comment. But what I suggest is, after you book your hotel, you can always ring up or send an email to the hotel to re-confirm if they have got your booking.
