Thanks to Agoda.com, we had a chance to stay at Regal Hong Kong airport hotel last month. Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong was again awarded the Best Airport Hotel in Asia-Pacific voted by readers of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific for the thirteenth consecutive year and the Best Airport Hotel in the World by Business Traveller UK edition for the sixth consecutive year. We are so happy that we have a chance to visit this hotel.

The hotel location is great if staying right at the airport is the requirement for you. It is less than 5 minutes leisurely walk from Terminal 1 on the arrival level via an air-conditioned walk way. I headed for the enclosed walkway to the Hotel (behind the Starbucks on the left) for a two-minute walk to the Hotel – on the same level as the arrivals hall, clearly marked, unaffected by weather, with luggage carts and moving sidewalks, the enclosed connection is a true plus.

There are signs everywhere to guide you to the hotel.

It take less than 5 minutes to walk from Terminal 1 to Regal Airport hotel.

We booked a Superior room.  I entered my room, activated the lights by putting the keycard in the slot near the door and found a comfortable queen bed and generous amount of space.

I love the room decor especially the red sofa, it makes the room feel so modern. And the bed is very comfortable too.

Most of the Superior room offer you a swimming pool view.

Power converter is provided by the hotel, as well as a cable for hard-wired internet access and an iPod/iPhone dock.

I was sitting on this red sofa and enjoying my coffee.

The bathroom was clean too.

Everything like Shampoo, Soap or toothpaste are provided in the toliet.

Hotel Lobby

Regal Airport Hotel has few restaurants serving Cantonese, Shanghainese, Japanese, Western and international cuisines. So you don’t need to worry about going outside to find food.

My Conclusion

For the traveler transiting through HKG, the Regal offers a convenient spot to refresh and recharge – efficient, relaxing, comfortable and comforting. I truly recommend it.
