This “Summer Delight Package” rate is applied to all hotels in Great China but only applies to Crowne Plaza Kowloon East in Hong Kong. Hotels in Macau and Taiwan are not participating in this offer either.
I have tried to book Hong Kong Crowne Plaza Kowloon East for 2 nights. The “Summer Delight Package” rate is actually the same price as “Advance Booking with Breakfast” rate plan. But the “Summer Delight Package” offer extra benefits like late check-out and 20% off dining.
My conclusion
The “Summer Delight Package” rate may not the cheapest rate! You should consider the extra benefits are valuable to your stay when you book with this rate plan.

Summer Delight Package
- The Summer Delight Package rate applies to InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn hotels in Greater China. Only applies to Crowne Plaza Kowloon East in Hong Kong. Hotels in Macau and Taiwan are not participating in this offer; not applicable to any Holiday Inn Express hotels.
- Guests and members who book the ‘Summer Delight’ package must book two full days (48 hours) prior to date of arrival for two consecutive nights or above.
- The Summer Delight Package Rate booking period is from 25 June until 5 September, 2014 and stay from 27 June until 8 September, 2014.
- The Summer Delight Package Rate includes buffet breakfast up to two, late check-out till 2pm (subject to availability), free rollaway bed, 20% dining discount at Chinese restaurants and lunch or dinner buffet in all day dining restaurants in hotels managed by IHG (discount does not apply to tax, service charge and beverages), and free in-room Internet access in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Guangzhou and Hong Kong hotels.
